Lydia Jackson

Art Therapy Intern

Lydia Jackson is an Art student at Ball State University with minors in Psychology and Social Work and plans to graduate in Fall 2026. She is passionate about the connection between creativity and mental wellness and is excited to begin her internship with Hope Within Therapy & Wellness, where she will help with the Express Yourself summer camp and lead her own art therapy workshops. Lydia recently centered her senior capstone art show around expressive art practices inspired by art therapy, helping her develop new techniques for guiding others through creative self-expression. After graduation, she hopes to earn her Master’s in Social Work and become a licensed therapist who incorporates art and creativity into her work. Outside of school and work, Lydia enjoys making art and hiking outdoors.
